2024-2025 Tryouts

Tryout Information

During the 2024-2025 season we will be offering Black, Gold, and Regional teams.

Our Black teams will be our most competitive teams while our Regional teams will only compete in Colorado. Both Black and Gold teams will travel and will consist of teams ages 13-18. Our 11s and 12s teams will be regional. We will have all age groups this upcoming season (11s-18s). If you are only wanting to play for a regional team please mention it in the registration.

We decided to offer regional teams for athletes who have multiple time or financial commitments that restrict them from playing club. Our regional teams will be offered at a lower cost and will have a smaller time commitment.

Our Black and Gold teams DO NOT guarantee playing time. Our regional teams guarantee playing time, but it may not be equal.

We will not be offering make up tryouts. Please contact Caiden Cox if you are unable to make tryouts. If you are wanting to play for VC, please still register for tryouts if you can't make it so we know that you are interested.

Please bring a copy of your daughter's birth certificate and their USAV medical release form to tryouts. These are required in order to tryout.

Tryout Dates/Times

July 13th

15s: 8am-10am

16s: 11am-1pm

17s and 18s: 2pm-4pm

July 14th

11s, 12s, and 13s: 8am-10am

14s: 11am-1pm

$50 per tryout (if a position is accepted, a deposit will be required on the day of signing a contract). Please sign up if you are wanting to play for VC, even if you can't make the tryout date.

Tryouts are not open to parents

11 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013

12 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012

13 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011

14 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010

15 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009

16 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008

17 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007

18 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006 (including high school graduates eligible based on the following statement.

Once a player participates (including but not limited to practicing, training, attending workouts and/or competing) in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he/she is ineligible to take part in any regional and national programming, which includes but is not limited to national JNC qualifying and championship events.

RMR Tryout/Recruiting Period

For all ages, the end of the RMR Regular Season is May 1st, 2024. While some teams may continue on to the USAV Girls Junior National Championship, the competitive season for most athletes, teams, coaches, and clubs has concluded. All athletes, regardless of their teams continuing to compete, are considered free agents at this time. The open recruiting period extends through tryouts until an athlete has signed a contract with a club.

Contract Signing Dates:

**Any athletes returning to the same club that they were affiliated with the previous season can sign contracts on July 22nd, 2024 at 10:00 AM (MST)

**Any athlete, regardless of their affiliation the prior season, can sign a contract on July 23rd, 2024 at 10:00 AM (MST)

We will be doing an in person contract signing this year.
