2025-2026 Tryouts

Tryout Information

During the 2025-2026 season we will be offering Black, Gold, White and Regional teams.

Our Black, White, and Gold teams will travel while our Regional teams will only compete in Colorado. We will have all age groups this upcoming season (11s-18s).

Playing time is not guaranteed for our Black, Gold, and White teams. Regional teams guarantee playing time, but it may not be equal.

Tryout Dates/Times

July 14th

17s/18s: 12:30pm-2:30pm

16s: 3:30-5:30pm

15s: 6pm-8pm

September 7th

14s: 1:00-3:00pm

13s: 3:30-5:00pm

11s/12s: 5:30-7:00pm

$50 per tryout (waived if you participated in 10 or more open gyms). If you register for tryouts and participated in 10 open gyms, choose the offline payment option so you do not have to pay.

Tryouts will be open to parents this year. A parent/guardian is preferred to arrive 30 minutes before the tryout ends to review offer letters.

Pre-Tryout Skill Prep Clinic

Want to sharpen your skills before tryouts? Our Pre-Tryout Skill Prep Clinics are designed to help athletes fine-tune their skills and build confidence in preparation for the 2025–26 club season. These focused, high-repetition training sessions provide valuable feedback while athletes work through skill-specific drills and competitive scenarios. Whether you are aiming for our Black, Gold, or White team, this clinic is the perfect way to feel prepared for tryouts.

what to bring to tryouts

Deposit

Please come to tryouts will a $700 check written out to VC Denver Volleyball. This check will only be deposited if a position is accepted.

Birth Certificate

Please bring a paper copy of your daughter's birth certificate. Do not bring the original copy. We will not take emailed or texted copies.

USAV Medical Release Form

Every athlete needs a USAV medical release form to participate in the club season. Please fill out and bring this form to tryouts. You can find it at this link https://usavolleyball.org/forms-and-information/ under Medical Release Form template (without notary).

Parent/Guardian

Parents/Guardians are more than welcome to come to tryouts. Please make sure if your parent/guardian decides to leave before or during the tryout that they are there 30 minutes before the tryout concludes to go over team offers.
